At GorillaShip, weāve always believed that reliability and consistency are non-negotiable ā not just in shipping, but in how we manage your inventory and shared folders behind the scenes. Over the past several weeks, weāve experienced ongoing issues with Dropbox, including delayed file syncing, broken share links, and unreliable upload notifications.
š ļø Over the next few days, all customer folders and shared inventory files will be migrated from Dropbox to Google Drive.
Why Weāre Making the Move
Our top priority is ensuring that you can view, track, and manage your GorillaShip shipments without interruption. Unfortunately, Dropboxās recent syncing and access errors have affected that experience. By migrating to Google Drive, weāll be able to provide:
Faster, more stable accessĀ to your shipment photos and item logs
Seamless mobile compatibilityĀ across Android and iOS
Stronger integrationĀ with Gmail and other communication tools we use
Fewer access errorsĀ and instant folder sharing for all new accounts
What You Need to Know
Youāll receive a new Google Drive linkĀ associated with your existing GorillaShip box (for example, CM365) once your folder is migrated.
No action is needed from youĀ ā our team will transfer all existing files, photos, and records securely.
Once the transfer is complete, youāll receive a confirmation email titled āYour New GorillaShip Drive Folder Is Ready.ā
After migration, your Dropbox folder will no longer update. Please use the new Google Drive link for all future tracking and uploads.
A Note from the Team
We appreciate everyoneās patience as we make this transition. GorillaShipās promise has always been built on trust, reliability, and consistency, and this move ensures we keep delivering exactly that ā with smoother performance and fewer interruptions.
If you have any questions during the migration process, please reach out to us directly through the Support HubĀ or by emailing support@gorillaship.co.uk
